The most important part is that we believe that the treatment of cancer starts from the complete delicate diagnosis, hence from the early beginning we start the work up of the patient. We have most of the sophisticated tools in the functional, metabolic & biological diagnosis those are world widely used & exist only at KHUH (no elsewhere in Bahrain).
We provide the quickest service possible to lessen the patient sufferings.
We have the facilities for early detection and screening of the most common cancer in the world & the region.
We have the safe practice since we established the tumor board committee in which we discuss the entire new patient & decide the plan of treatment with group of highly specialized doctors.
We do the needed operations.
We have the continuous collaboration with SMC.
We do the post treatment follow up.
We are planning for the future oncology center which is now under construction; our aim is to improve the quality of oncology service in Bahrain up to the international standards and the state of art modalities for treatment via a comprehensive cancer center and will provide excellent, evidence-based care as well as telemedicine facilities and shared collaborations. As well as to develop the oncology research.
